Can I cook with sALLt That Glitters?

sALLt That Glitters stands up very well to heat. Use it in or on anything on which you’d normally use salt.

What types of salt are available?

We currently have 3 versions of sALLt That Glitters:

  • Barbara – Black Hawaiian Lava sea salt with gold pearlescents
  • Tanya – Pink Himalayan sea salt with pink pearlescents
  • Donna – White Mediterranean seal salt with silver pearlescents

Is it just used on savory dishes?

Use sALLt That Glitters anywhere you’d normally use salt. It’s not just for savory dishes. Our customers have used it for cocktail rims (margaritas, bloody marys, Micheladas), desserts (think salted caramel brownie), and sweet breakfast items (like French toast)!

Do you offer bulk/wholesale pricing?

What are edible mica-based pearlescents?

Out sALLt That Glitters is 100% edible and made with FDA-approved ingredients. Mica-based pearlescents give the salt the incredible shimmer and sparkle.

All of our edible food-grade dusts glitter salts contain various mica powder pigments and go through a specific manufacturing process allowing the mineral to be edible & consumable.

Common ingredients in edible glitters can include: Dextrose, Color Additives including food grade Mica Based-Pearlescent pigments, FD&C Colors, Cornstarch. The FDA has approved all of the ingredients used in our edible glitter salt.

Is sALLt That Glitters dairy-free, nut-free, etc?

sALLt That Glitters is:

Can I add this to drinks to add sparkle?

sALLt That Glitters is mineral-based, not sugar based, so it does not dissolve; however, it is fantastic on a cocktail rim!
